Celebrate Australia Day as One Nation

One Nation’s Australia Day wish is to start Australia on the path to returning our country to its former glory days. We would assist this with a plan to enforce quarantine and anti-dumping laws and insist on an examination and review of current tariff regulations and their consequences, especially in relation to orange juice and other primary industry produce.

We also insist on a logical and transparent evaluation of water usage and prices to the public and particularly those charged to farmers, where we seek a reduction in cost of half that currently charged. Indeed, Primary Producers are faced with ever increasing operational costs that endanger their continued viability. One Nation intends to haul back the ever and rapidly escalating cost of electricity to the consumer. Here too we would examine the potential for a further cost reduction to primary production and industry.

The essence of our party is fiercely sovereign preservation. What we offer is neither antiquated nor fantasy. They are instead tried and proven formula that has been used repetitively through history successfully. Of which its success was the primary reason for its dismantling here in Australia. This is also exactly and nothing less than what the original Country Party would be offering you before they changed their name to the National Party and sold their soul to the incredulous “level playing field” that is “Free Trade”.

One Nation demands a halt to chemical contaminated Brazilian Orange Juice

Brazil is now the sixth richest country in the world, but some of their agricultural controls are still of a Third World standard.  As reported in the media, that the U.S. have “suspended all imports of foreign orange juice and began stringent testing”… I call on both the Labor and Liberal Parties to advise what has been done by Australian officials and when it took effect.  If action, such as that taken by North America has not been initiated already, then it should start immediately.  Further, you are requested to name which juices sold in Australia are in danger of putting peoples’ health at risk and withdraw them from sale.

Food manufacturers have no obligation to label juices with a specific country of origin.   The Herald has previously revealed Woolworths Home Brand orange juice, which is labelled; ''packed in Australia from imported and local ingredients'', contains 90 percent Brazilian orange juice concentrate. Coles has also confirmed it uses Brazilian orange juice concentrate in its brands.”

What is Important? Some people seem very despondent because they feel that our politicians have got us into an almighty mess and now they do not seem to know how to get us back out of it.  Do you even care that for the past two months at least, and right now, there has been contaminated juice risking the health of Australian citizens?  Where is the quarantine and testing of produce imported into our nation? Where is the public recall of this product? Why has it not been removed already from supermarket shelves? Do you really not care that for decades now doubtful and cheap juice has been killing orange orchards across Australia? There are many reasons why we should have

One Nation could return country to glory days

Do you remember Jack McEwen and the Country Party; now known as the National Party?  He and his government made farming and industry prosperous in Australia, gave us amongst the highest living standards of any developed country and made us the envy of the world.  Isn't it a pity that still so many Australians believe that the major parties are representative of their best interests.

Jack McEwen achieved this for Australians primarily by the raising and lowering of Tariffs and subsidies according to requirements as they were deemed necessary.  This gave Australian farmers, mining and industry protection and profitability, where they could not only survive, but prosper.  This allowed for secure employment, better conditions for employees and high quality products.

But, unless Australians are prepared to support a political party such as One Nation, then you had pretty well forget about any return to such sound and successful practices, as just as the Labor/Green government, the coalition have devoted themselves to the U.N. and WTO, we will still be surrendered.  One Nation would support the Liberal/National Coalition repeal the Labor/Green Carbon Tax and will oppose carbon trading.  We would also support the return to the Howard Governments successful formula for putting a stop to the boat arrivals and would also strongly suggest that substantial financial aid currently given to Indonesia be withdrawn for every boat that makes its way here from there.

One Nation would however Not support the Liberal/National coalition in the resigning of any Treaty that is of continuing detriment to Australia and its common wealth.  We will push for the re-establishment of regulation, common law rights, including water entitlements, tariffs and subsidies, and nurture the return of essential industry necessary for infrastructure and strategic importance.  Would view rewarding incentives for innovation in technology, R&D improvements, etc, that are more efficient and less polluting instead of such punitive and punishing legislation that is the Carbon Tax.  One Nation intends to see to the re-establishment of a Commonwealth Bank and the return of our power utilities to their original charter of supplying plentiful and affordable electricity.
